Sans Forgetica, Good for your brain
Created by a team of designers and behavioural scientists from RMIT University, Sans Forgetica is the font that promises to improve your ability to remember your notes.
The text presents some spaces between lines that we are accustomed to see complete, a factor that increases the brain’s effort to understand, and it is exactly this effort that helps us remember the text.
A test was carried out with 400 college students, comparing results between Sans Forgetica and Arial, the result was that when Sans Forgetica was used, the stutters were able to remember 57% of the text against 50% using Arial.
Still, Stephen Banham, one of the leaders of this project, does not recommend using this source for everything because it can even create headaches. He suggests that this source is ideal for students that are going through stress.
The good news is that the source is FREE.
